He has also represented Singapore in premiering his work at the Global Dance Summit 2012 in Taiwan. In 2011, he founded dSPACE and continues to helm it as the Artistic Director of the company.

As an educator, Dan teaches in numerous local dance organisations and educational institutions. He has taught at Singapore Dance Theatre Open Classes, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and Dance Ensemble Singapore, and was also a founder of SMU INDANCITY, serving as their Artistic and Resident Choreographer for 12 years.

Under his mentorship, dTEAM, and his students, have won numerous awards across various genres in competitions such as the Asia Pacific Dance Competition, the CSTD Regional Dance Competition and Get the Beat Asia.

His prolific career as a veteran dance educator, has seen him groom hundreds of dance students over two decades, many of whom go on to further their study in dance at a professional level in well-known vocational institutions worldwide such as the Falmouth University, Trinity Laban, New Zealand School of Dance and Northern School of Contemporary Dance. He takes great pride in his role of nurturing the next generation of passionate young dancers.
